Only when we understand our place in the cosmos and the importance of preserving our beautiful planet we can expect to have a sustainable and fair future.
With this project let us bring some more starts to the young minds in our care, and hope their future will be as bright as a beautiful starry night.

  1. We are all responsible

Climate change is the greatest environmental threat of the 21st century, with profound and transversal consequences for various areas of society.
We are all affected by this issue.
Climate change has always been recorded over the thousands of years that planet Earth has. The problem is that, in the last century, the pace between these climatic variations has accelerated sharply.
The occurrence of heat waves and droughts is an increasingly frequent phenomenon, and the resulting agricultural losses represent a real threat to the world economies.
In 2007, human activity was identified by scientists specialized in this area and brought together under the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, as the main cause of these climate changes.

The temperature, in the last century, registered an increase of 0.76ºC. The forecast is that at present it will rise between 1.1 to 6.4ºC.
This increase in the average temperature considered normal by over 2ºC can induce responses that can trigger irreversible damage to ecosystems.
