We are all responsible
Climate change is the greatest environmental threat of the 21st century, with profound and transversal consequences for various areas of society. We are all affected by this issue. Climate change has always been recorded over the thousands of years that planet Earth has. The problem is that, in the last century, the pace between these climatic variations has accelerated sharply. The occurrence of heat waves and droughts is an increasingly frequent phenomenon, and the resulting agricultural losses represent a real threat to the world economies. In 2007, human activity was identified by scientists specialized in this area and brought together under the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, as the main cause of these climate changes. The temperature, in the last century, registered an increase of 0.76ºC. The forecast is that at present it will rise between 1.1 to 6.4ºC. This increase in the average temperature considered normal by over 2ºC can induce responses that can trigger irreve...
